Marjoke Henrichs studied Art and Textile Art in Amsterdam. Postgraduate Theatre Design with Nicolaas Wijnberg at the Jan v Eyk Academy in Maastricht and with Margaret Harris (Motley) in London.
She persued a succesfull career in theatre design working for theatre companies in England and abroad often incorporating her artwork within her designs.
She won an Arts Council Bursery for her designs for the Tempest and was a member of the British Design Exhibition at the Praque Quadrennial 1995, which was awarded a special Gold Medal.
In 2008 she won the Suffolk Open Studio Art Prize and was runner up in 2009.
Her artworks are held in many private collections in England and abroad.
Currently she is studying a Masters degree in Childrens book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art as well as working on her paintings and designing and making sets and costumes
